Sony Jumps on Tablet Bandwagon; Tablet S Available for Preorder

It seems like all we here about are tablets these days. Sony, who is a latecomer to the Android tablet game, has just announced their Tablet S is available for pre-order today, and will ship September 16th. Unlike the ridiculous pricing of the HTC Jetstream, the Tablet S will retail for the more mainstream $499 16gb model and $599 32gb model. However, the only thing the Tablet S really brings to the table is a unique form factor, which mimics a paper tablet folded over. The screen is slightly smaller than most at 9.4inches, and under the hood is running a Tegra 2 1.2ghz, which is pretty dated at this point.
If you are interested, both the Sony Store and Amazon have them available for pre-order. No word yet on the smaller, dual-screen Tablet P though.
