Biggest Event in Android History Goes Down Tonight @10PM EST

Posted 10-18-2011 at 08:11 PM by elmotactics

It's been the event that the entire Android world has been waiting for. After being put on hold due to the untimely death of Steve Jobs, Google and Samsung are both set to raise the bar higher than it's ever been risen before with the unveiling of both Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

Ice Cream Sandwich is set to be the version that does away with one of Androids major flaws; fragmentation. ICS will create a unified architecture for both tablets and phones. The Galaxy Nexus will be the fastest phone ever developed, running the newest Android, and will finally be available on Verizon.

You can head over to Android's Youtube Channel to catch up on all the news, and watch the event live. It starts at 10pm Eastern, 7pm Pacific.
