Now the rumor is that 92% of 16 gb iPhones black are white, are inflicted with this problem. I myself also have the light leak and this is my 3rd iPhone. I have returned 2 others for this problem and various other reasons. If you dont know what the light leak is, its the backlighting to the screen, that shines through, were the bezel meets the glass on the scree, and its only on the left of the iPhone. The reason its in only iPhone 3g's, no one knows. I think apple made the phone a lot, and i mean alot cheaper by using cheap parts, thats why its 300 bucks instead of 600. idk why apple still has not acknoleged this yet, but they should soon, or im going back to my beloved blackberry.
