Best new smartphone? 1 Year, 10 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi all. This is kind of a quiet board, so I hope someone notices this. I'm in the market for a smart phone, and I was wondering what your recommendations were. I'm not good with technology and I can't really understand all the specs. The people at the phone store are obviously trying to sell me their most expensive products, so I was hoping for some more neutral advice. My company recently changed our processes to fully integrate using virtual voice mail and pbxs, whatever those are, so I was hoping a new phone for me would include that kind of compatibility.

Dear wasu you neither mentioned your budget nor features what are you looking for? At the moment in market several mobile phones are available in different price. If you are looking for good camera or music then try sony if you are looking for a reliable and good memory then nokia is ok. Any way I would recommend you nokia phones only.

As angelinalove mentioned, we'd need to know your budget, especially since you're worried about the store staff just trying to sell you what costs a lot. Personally I recommend a Nokia, since it has a great interface and it's what I own myself, but a friend of mine swears by his iPhone, and since you're posting in the apple board I'm assuming you know about it. It might be relevant to you since you mentioned being compatible with virtual voicemail, but my company uses gotvmail, and my iphone friend never had any trouble receiving mail and calls routed through that system to his cell.

So I finally thought the HTC Magic was the new phone to buy cause of it's wonderful features and open source OS Android. Now Apple just introduced the new iPhone 3G S which also has a lot of new features that make it really worth to doubt the HTC Magic. Checkout and compare all the features of the Magic and 3G S yourself and decide! Ain't that a hard choice?!
